I rather have my lunch break taken out, that way I have my hr to myself. As a provider I could not understand that and my views did not align with the way they were doing things.įinally, the paid lunch is really not really paid, why? bc you as a provider is definitely working 90% of the time through it. If I was a patient, that would push me to inquire another MAT facility because coming there every 2 weeks with family/ job obligations is ALOT.

Your professional expert decision are not needed, patient need to be biweekly for 6 months before upgrading to monthly per their policy or you will be instant message by one of the other provider about that event. For example, If you are assessing a patient that is doing well with sobriety and the patient is biweekly, you as a provider cannot change patient status to monthly.

There are no diversity, unrealistic goals for new providers coming on, unsafe volume of patients and no autonomy for experienced providers.Īdditionally, that weekly meeting is a joke, a provider cannot implement their OWN treatment plan for individual patient care, everything is by policy. He is a phony that tries to sound good and self-promote himself and his image. The CEO gives these "rah rah" videos often that just spew lies and nonsense. A once great place to work has become a "prescription mill" that doesn't care about patient success.just revenue generation. Management hides out all day and is never involved with staff and let issues go until it becomes something they can no longer ignore. They promote those that develop relationships with higher management by sucking-up and overlook qualified staff. This place also promotes unqualified staff that do not even meet the standards the company sets for certain positions. Management does not support staff and will throw you under the bus to cover for themselves. Front office staff have to do the work of 2 to 3 people. Care Coordinators have unreasonable workloads thrust upon them. Providers are paid by production and if they see a patient for too long, they get financially penalized. That has changed to being a profit driven, numbers driven enterprise. This company started out with a great mission and vision driven by PATIENTS FIRST.
